About Us

Woronora River Patrol Club Inc is a long-standing organization dedicated to public safety, community service, and life-saving education. Established in 1935, our club has served generations of residents and visitors in the Sutherland Shire region. We offer training and events that empower individuals with vital rescue and survival skills. Our programs target children, youth, and adults alike, aiming to build confidence and foster responsibility in and around the water.

Our members are dedicated volunteers, instructors, and community leaders who work year-round to uphold high standards of safety and education. We collaborate with local councils, schools, and emergency services to maximize our impact. From regular patrols along the Woronora River to hands-on rescue scenarios, we provide real-life experience and valuable training opportunities.

We believe in accessibility, inclusiveness, and the power of knowledge to save lives. Everyone is welcome to participate in our activities, whether you are a first-time swimmer or an experienced lifesaver.

Join us in creating a safer, stronger, and more united community by the river.
